Smokey

Anyone who knows us, knows that dogs are always welcome at our house. Parker is a summertime staple, and we also get a lot of visits from Scarlet. Shown here is Smokey the Pomeranian, who belongs to Andy’s brother and sister-in-law. At the age of four, Smokey had already lived a hard life as a breeding dog at a puppy mill. She had no name and lived her entire life in a crate until she was rescued by a shelter. She is now an affectionate and happy dog thanks to Brian and Emily who adopted her. Proving that even dogs who have had a rough beginning can become the best of pets.
